WHAT PAYS THE BILLS:
Art Educator for 34+ years. I have taught all age levels; currently spending my week days with middle schoolers.
WHAT SATISFIES MY SOUL:
As a mixed media artist, I am fascinated by the layering of various art media onto a surface. This sometimes includes collage materials like old book pages or discarded sheet music. I enjoy the challenge of trying out different formats, from paper to canvas to wood. My work is constantly evolving as I continue to play and experiment...refusing to settle in on one style/technique.

I was honored this past spring to receive the MAEA Middle School Art TOY up in Belfast, Maine. Many artists/teachers gathered to make art, connect, and recognize deserving art teachers throughout the state.

Masters at Maine College of Art & Design
This past year, with the help of my art colleague, we managed to get our Masters in Art Education. Because of its asynchronous online platform, it allowed for us to still hold down our teaching jobs while working toward this degree. My 34th year of being an art educator also brought me back to what it is like to be a student again!
